ACCOUNT PLANNER/ MANAGER, INSIGHTS

 

JOB DESCRITION

  • Draft and execute elements of the account planning process under the direction of planning director. Consistently deliver unique consumer insights & relevant market information to the process.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Day-to-day contact under direction Planning Director: interact with clients and agency team(s) in account planning; in the execution of research; and in development of creative briefs
  • Champion proactive thinking on the client’s business; demonstrate the agency’s ability to identify unexpected opportunities and help grow the client’s business
  • Develop and lead efforts to continuously immerse the organization in customer understanding, with recommended actions to meet core target needs
  • Turn consumer insights into actionable findings, solutions, and business results


REQUIREMENTS

  • Critical Trendspotter – can identify consumer patterns; follow where market-based evidence and reasoning lead
  • Surf Strategist – can evaluate and shape on-line brand experiences; engage in sensitive consumer conversation; understand the nuances of social networking and user-generated content (UGC)
  • Empathic Ambassador – can see through someone else’s eyes without filtering through his/her own lens first, hear the true ‘voice of the consumer’
  • Creative Connector – can liaise between business leaders and creative minds to link unrelated sources of information and deliver great work
  • Engaging Storyteller – can bring ideas to life in delivery; capture the imagination of viewers
  • Relentless Investigator – continually ask different questions to locate uncommon answers; refuse to just accept things for what they are
