(2008 - Current)

 

Strategic Planner. Juniper Park is a new (Summer '07), boutique agency within the BBDO network concentrating on advertising, strategy, design and innovation. I'm involved with a range of clients and projects specific to Social Media, Sustainability, Health & Wellness, Marketing to Women, CPG Innovation, Recession Marketing and CSR.

 

THE HIVE STRATEGIC MARKETING INC         

(2005 – 2007)

Account Manager, responsible for liaising between client and agency partners to facilitate the development and implementation of exceptional marketing services:

 

  • Jack Daniel’s Studio 7 Concert Series: Supported the first two seasons of the proprietary US-based concert series. Liaised between client, agency creative team, media partners and talent management. Ensured that team members continuously had the information, tools, research and target insight necessary to provide a unique, branded live music experience.
  • RBK 9K O-Stick Launch: Managed the launch of revolutionary new composite hockey stick. Lead research initiatives, developed creative briefs and coordinated multiple-channel activation: including mini-site, print ads, POP & direct mail pieces.
  • RBK Edge Uniform Launch: Managed communications for the launch of Reebok’s new NHL uniform at the 2006 All-Star game: included a mini-site, 30 second in-game broadcast, press video, print ad, and in-game signage. Liaised with client, creative and agency partners to deliver on-strategy communications against challenging timelines.
  • Other Projects: Assisted in the development and delivery of elements for promotional programs leveraging brands across NFL football, NHL Hockey and various global music properties.

 

ADBAKERY.COM                                

(2007 – Current)

 

Creator, designed and developed a social network that allows consumers to showcase their unsolicited advertising ideas. Live since October 2007, the site has facilitated thousands of user-generated ideas from over 500 contributors around the world. Also, produced a viral video to support the launch and drive traffic to the site; the three-minute parody has been viewed over 10,000,000 times across YouTube, Metacafe and Break.com. It won the Canadian Comedy Award for best web clip in 2008 and is one of the most watched Canadian internet comedies ever.

GALLOP AND GALLOP ADVERTISING INC

(2003)     

Project Coordinator, responsible for an outdoor media measurement project: surveying approximately 15,000 outdoor frames across Canada. Created and managed the project catalogue, instructed local and out-of-town employees, performed research measurement surveys, and reported findings. Worked primarily unsupervised, dividing time between office and fieldwork.

 

MOSAIC SALES SOLUTIONS           

(2002)

Field Representative, responsible for execution of the Bud Light Taste Challenge. Performed sampling according to specific training regulations, collected market research, created an enjoyable atmosphere for diverse patrons, and represented a positive brand image. Worked largely unsupervised in a variety of social settings.
